I undertake all diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies except ERCP and enteroscopy. I am an accredited bowel cancer screening colonoscopist and I perform most therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as polypectomy, dilatation, banding, insertion of oesophageal stents, bleeding haemostasis etc.

I was appointed as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Lincoln County Hospital in 2003 and provide up to date care in gastrointestinal and liver diseases (except hepatitis B and C infection). I have a special interest in and am the lead clinician for inflammatory bowel disease services.

Having completed my MD at the prestigious Chandigarh Institute of Medical Education and Research and working as a Senior Resident at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, I moved to the UK for higher specialist training. I then completed specialist training in gastroenterology and general medicine at the South Trent Deanery in Leicester.

I also consult patients with general medical problems. It is my mission to provide a safe, effective and evidence based treatment for all of my patients.

I have published several papers in the medical and gastroenterology journals.
