Spire Norwich Hospital rated ‘Good’ across all areas in CQC assessment

Spire Norwich Hospital has been rated ‘Good’ overall by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following a comprehensive assessment carried out between 4 and 24 March 2026. The CQC assessed 33 quality statements as part of its review.
The hospital received ‘Good’ ratings across all five key areas assessed by the CQC: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led. The assessment covered surgery, diagnostic imaging and outpatient services, with all three services rated ‘Good’.
Inspectors found that patients received safe, effective and compassionate care, and spoke very highly of staff. The hospital was found to be well-led and focused on delivering high-quality care across its services.

98% of Spire Healthcare's inspected hospitals and clinics are rated ‘Good’, ‘Outstanding’ or the equivalent by health inspectors in England, Scotland and Wales.
