I trained at King's College Hospital, London and have research experience in fetal medicine and hormone replacement therapy.
I have local, regional and national involvement with training and education, and is also the ex-regional adviser for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and ex-chairman of the East Anglian Regional Advisory Committee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
I also recently served on the council of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and have been chairman of the RCOG Workforce Advisory Committee and Honorary Secretary of the RCOG (2004-2011).
I have been a consultant at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital since 1987, and I am generalist in obstetrics and gynaecology and has a wide- ranging NHS and private practice across the specialty with particular interest in menstrual irregularity, menorrhagia, hormone replacement, premenstrual syndrome, fertility and prolapse.
