I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in disorders of the hip and knee. My NHS practice is based at the James Paget University Hospital. I qualified from University College and Middlesex School of Medicine in London in 1995 and completed the majority of my orthopaedic training in the south of England (Kent, Sussex and Surrey rotation). I also spent one year in hip speciality training at University College Hospital in London with leading experts in this area of orthopaedic surgery.
My main interests are in techniques of hip joint preservation surgery including hip arthroscopy and pelvic osteotomy in younger people. I also undertake some aspects of knee surgery, including joint replacement and sports injuries.
Mr Cohen's clinic is held on a Wednesday afternoon and operating theatre time on Wednesday evening. Appointments may be arranged at other times during the week according to availability.

Mr Cohen is married and has four children. Outside medicine his interests include playing football, cricket and golf. Mr Cohen also enjoys playing the guitar and spending as much time as possible with his family.
