My practice encompasses all aspects of general adult cardiology with a special interest in coronary angioplasty and pacemakers.
I qualified from the Royal Free Hospital, University of London with distinction in 1986. My postgraduate training was undertaken at the Royal Brompton Hospital London, Papworth Hospital Cambridge and in Queensland Australia. My research at Papworth focused on novel techniques for the management of refractory angina. I was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in 1996.
Since my appointment I have been privileged to help transform the Cardiology Department from a large district general hospital into a tertiary centre undertaking a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
