I specialise in general dermatology, with special interest in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. I have wide experience in general dermatology and chronic skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis in addition to the other inflammatory skin diseases.

I graduated from Baghdad University then granted a diploma and Master degree in clinical dermatology from Cardiff University with distinction. I finished my training in Dermatology in NNUH and worked as a consultant dermatologist since 2017.

During my training in Dermatology I developed a special interest in skin cancer diagnosis and management, using the most advanced technology like the confocal microscopy. In addition to different skin surgeries from as simple as removing skin tags to more complex surgical excisions of skin cancer.

I'm currently the audit lead in dermatology at NNUB and deputy chair of the departmental clinical governance lead.
