Dr Martin Phillips trained in the SE Thames region and qualified in general medicine and gastroenterology. He spent 5 years at King's College Hospital Liver Unit, a world renowned centre for liver disease, including his research which was in the management of severe alcoholic liver disease.

Dr Phillips' main clinical interests are the investigation of abnormal liver function tests, the management of chronic liver disease, the complications of alcoholism, and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP.

Personal Profile

Dr Martin Phillips has 3 young children and most of his time outside work is spent with his family. They enjoy exploring Norfolk and have settled in the area very quickly. When he gets the opportunity he likes to play tennis, squash, golf and go to the gym.
