With over 25 years of experience as a consultant working in the field of pain medicine / pain management, I have considerable past clinical experience in a wide range of interventional procedures. Over recent years, I have chosen to specialise in non-interventional pain management and aim to assist patients in establishing the best possible approach to the management of their chronic pain condition.
Where interventional procedures, such as nerve root blocks, epidural steroids, diagnostic medial branch blocks and radiofrequency denervations, are a reasonable option to pursue, I am able to use my experience to provide a balanced opinion and to make the onward referral to a suitable specialist when interventional treatment is established as the right option.
