FRCR, MRCP, MRCS, MSc, MB BCh BAO LRCP
I am a Clinical Oncologist specialising in the treatment of lung cancer, with a particular focus on stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR), precision oncology and advanced systemic anti-cancer treatments, including immunotherapy, targeted therapy and chemotherapy. I have more than 10 years of dedicated oncology experience across both clinical practice and cancer research, including specialist oncology work in the UK and Singapore.
At Spire Norwich Hospital in Norfolk, I provide modern, evidence-based cancer care using highly personalised treatment approaches. My practice includes advanced radiotherapy techniques such as Lung SABR, as well as precision medicine strategies and access to clinical trials where appropriate. I am also actively involved in translational and clinical research aimed at improving cancer treatments, patient outcomes and quality of life.
Before entering formal Clinical Oncology training, I spent almost four years working in oncology and early-phase clinical trials. This included working as a Clinical Research Fellow at the Early Phase Clinical Trials Unit at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where I was involved in delivering innovative cancer therapies and translational oncology research.
I specialise in the management of lung cancer, including early-stage and advanced disease, as well as pleural and peritoneal mesothelioma. My areas of expertise include personalised treatment planning, Lung SABR and advanced radiotherapy techniques, alongside immunotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted cancer therapies. I also provide precision oncology and molecularly guided cancer treatments, and support patients with oligometastatic and complex metastatic disease through integrated radiotherapy and systemic treatment approaches.
My clinical experience spans advanced radiotherapy, systemic anti-cancer therapies and precision oncology across multiple tumour types, with a particular focus on complex and advanced cancers. I have extensive experience using image-guided radiotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies and chemotherapy to create treatment plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
I understand that a cancer diagnosis can be an overwhelming and difficult experience for both patients and their families. One of the most important parts of my role is making sure patients feel informed, supported and involved in every step of their care. I believe compassionate, personalised care and clear communication are just as important as the treatment itself.
As part of a specialist lung cancer multidisciplinary team, I work closely with surgeons, respiratory physicians, radiologists, pathologists, specialist nurses and research teams to ensure every patient receives coordinated and evidence-based care tailored to their individual circumstances.
Alongside my clinical practice, I hold active national and international research and leadership roles. I have authored more than 40 peer-reviewed oncology publications, including work published in The Lancet Oncology, Cochrane and the Journal of Clinical Oncology. I am also Principal Investigator for several international clinical trials and have contributed to a number of national and international steering committees and research collaborations.
My research interests include targeted therapies, next-generation sequencing, clinical trial methodology, patient-reported outcomes and improving access to precision medicine in routine cancer care. I have led a Cochrane systematic review on next-generation sequencing-guided targeted therapies and served on the Scientific Advisory Committee for the World Conference on Lung Cancer 2025.
