I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee conditions, with experience treating both routine joint problems and complex cases.
I support patients with a wide range of concerns, including arthritis, joint pain and sports injuries affecting the hip and knee. I offer both non-surgical treatments, such as joint injections, and surgical options where needed, including primary and revision (re-do) hip and knee replacement surgery. I also carry out procedures such as knee ligament reconstruction and arthroscopy to help restore movement and stability.
I have particular experience in managing complex cases, including patients requiring reconstruction following trauma or cancer affecting the bone, working alongside specialist teams to deliver coordinated care.
My training has taken place across a number of leading orthopaedic centres in the UK, where I developed advanced skills in joint replacement and complex reconstruction techniques. Alongside my clinical work, I am involved in multidisciplinary team care and contribute to specialist services within the region.
I am also actively involved in teaching and research, supporting the development of future orthopaedic surgeons and contributing to advances in patient care.
I understand how much hip and knee problems can affect daily life, so I take time to provide clear explanations and tailored treatment options to support recovery.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying active.
