Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Saeed Mohammad at Spire include:
I am the Clinical Lead for spines at the North West Spinal Unit at Salford Royal Hospital. I trained in Glasgow and Newcastle and practised at the Birmingham Spinal Unit before moving to Manchester. Due to my expertise in my field I receive patient referrals from across the region.
I am a dedicated spinal surgeon, trained in deformity surgery, with a specialist interest in complex cervical spine surgery. I carry out surgery for degenerative conditions of the whole spine, tumours, infection and trauma. I have developed pioneering treatment for degenerative scoliosis.
Outcomes measures are important to assess success of treatment and I am part of an international group collecting data on patient outcomes after surgery. I am also developing innovative tumour surgery alongside thoracic surgeons, as this is a service not previously available in Manchester.
