I have been working as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interest in foot and ankle surgery and sports injuries. I undertook my specialist training in various prestigious trauma centres in the East and West Midlands, and completed a foot and ankle fellowship at the world-renowned Wrightington Hospital. I also undertook a visiting fellowship in Germany in a highly established foot and ankle specialist centre.

I am a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British and European Foot and Ankle Society. I have a keen interest in research and have published and presented my research work in various national and international meetings including as an invited speaker.

My main areas of expertise include management of ankle pain, ankle arthritis, achilles tendon pain, bunions, foot and ankle fractures, arthritis in foot joints, inflammatory arthritis, big toe arthritis, and plantar fasciitis. I offer surgical treatments and deformity correction of chronic pathologies to cover the entire range of problems related to the ankle and the foot.

I also provide treatment for sports injuries related to the foot and ankle.

To date, I have performed a large number of various foot and ankle procedures covering a range of common and complex procedures. I have been a lead for various positions including clinical governance, audit and research, infection prevention, teaching for undergraduate and postrgraduate levels and specialist adviser to the Care Quality commission UK.

I completed a masters level qualification in Leadership and Management from Chartered Management Institute (Level 7). I also completed BOA clinical leaders programme during my fellowship.
