As part of our longstanding relationship, we are proud to be dedicating our resources to the NHS at this important time. Professional profile

I am a graduate of Newcastle Medical School and trained in the North East of England at one of the UK's largest and most experienced cardiology departments. I have also benefited from training at several centres throughout Europe. I was appointed as consultant cardiologist and clinical lead for electrophysiology (abnormal heart rhythms) at the Lancashire Cardiac Centre in 2010 and have developed the service for the region since then, providing a comprehensive service for the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms.

I provide expertise in the assessment and treatment of palpitations and abnormal heart rhythms including supra ventricular tachycardia (SVT), atrial fibrillation, and ventricular tachycardia. The procedures I perform include ablation of all arrhythmias as well as simple and complex pacemakers, including defibrillators (ICDs). I also treat patients with sports related arrhythmias.
