I am a Consultant Gynaecologist with nearly 25 years of experience working in tertiary hospitals across London, the West Midlands, and Greater Manchester. I provide personalised treatment plans for issues such as heavy periods, fibroids, ovarian cysts, abnormal vaginal bleeding, and menopausal symptoms. I am passionate about empowering women to make informed choices about their wellbeing.

I specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of benign gynaecological conditions, as well as expert care for women navigating the menopause. I also offer preconception planning for women with complex medical disorders. I offer a warm, understanding approach, ensuring every patient feels listened to and supported.

I perform minor procedures such as cervical smears, Mirena coil insertions, and well-woman checks; day-case procedures such as therapeutic hysteroscopy, womb biopsies, removal of fibroids and polyps, endometrial ablation for heavy periods, and operative laparoscopy; as well as major surgeries such as hysterectomy.

I have an extensive interest in medical education and am the Course Director of national simulation courses for trainee doctors. I am an examiner at the General Medical Council, the University of Manchester, and North Wales Medical School, and an active author of e-learning tutorials for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. I have several peer-reviewed publications and run a number of research trials as Principal Investigator in Wrexham.

I am the Labour Ward Lead and Maternal Medicine Lead for high-risk obstetrics at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
