Virtual consultations:
I am a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist specialising in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of heart conditions, with a particular focus on coronary artery disease and coronary angioplasty (stent procedures).
I understand that heart investigations and treatments can feel overwhelming, especially when a stenting procedure is recommended. My aim is to provide clear advice, reassurance and high-quality care so patients feel informed and confident throughout every stage of their treatment.
I perform both planned and emergency coronary angioplasty procedures, including treatment for patients experiencing heart attacks at the Manchester Heart Centre, part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. This experience allows me to manage both routine and complex cardiac cases.
I am committed to delivering a calm, professional and patient-centred service, supported by an experienced clinical team who help guide patients throughout their care journey.
I am a member of the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society and the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions and regularly keep up to date with the latest developments in interventional cardiology.
Through my professional network across the North West, I can also help patients access specialist cardiac care in areas including heart failure, pacemakers, ablation therapy and cardiac imaging where appropriate.
