I qualified at Oxford University in 1989 and worked in Oxford before returning to the North West. I was trained in the North West region and took time out to undertake a PhD funded by the Medical Research Council in 1999. I was appointed as a Consultant at Hope Hospital in the Gastroenterology department.
In 2001, I became an honorary clinical lecturer at Manchester University and I am also the lead tutor for undergraduate gastroenterology teaching at Hope Hospital.
Spire Manchester Hospital is only able to provide Covid-19 tests to patients undergoing surgery at our hospital. Covid-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service.
