Dr Abdullah Mohammed
MBChB (Glasg), MRCP (Lond)
I am an established senior consultant cardiologist with extensive experience in cardiology and internal medicine.
In addition to general cardiology I am especially interested in cardiac imaging in providing accurate assessment for cardiac abnormalities. I am an active member in cardiac imaging professional societies.
I have a long standing experience with cardiac conditions such as angina, heart attack, heart failure, valve heart disease and palpitations - including atrial fibrillation.
I am also experienced with cardiac risk assessment prior to non-cardiac surgery, 'Healthy Heart' check ups for cardiovascular disease screening and primary prevention advice.
I am renowned for my thorough assessment of cardiac conditions and personalised patients care - providing treatment and reassurance with explanation in a way that patients and carers understand.
I had both my undergraduate and post graduate training at some of the best UK medical institutions. I studied medicine at the University of Glasgow and completed the Mersey Deanery Training Programme in cardiology and general medicine. During my training I took more focused subspecialty training in echocardiography and cardiac imaging.
