I am a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician with more than 20 years of clinical practice across South Asia, the Middle East and the UK. Throughout my career, I have cared for women and families during some of the most important and challenging moments of their lives. I believe every patient deserves to be listened to and supported, and I take the time to understand each person's individual circumstances, explain their options clearly and work together to make informed decisions about their care.
I provide care for a wide range of gynaecological and reproductive health conditions, including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fibroids, pelvic pain, sexual health concerns, vulval conditions and premenstrual syndrome (PMS). I also support patients with more complex gynaecological and reproductive health needs.
I am experienced in outpatient procedures such as hysteroscopy, which allows me to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the womb, including abnormal bleeding, fibroids and polyps. My surgical practice includes advanced minimally invasive and laparoscopic (keyhole) procedures, including hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy and other laparoscopic operations.
I care for women at every stage of life, from pre-conception counselling and early pregnancy care through to preterm birth prevention, postnatal recovery and menopause management. I also have specialist expertise in fetal medicine and complex reproductive health, supporting individuals and families facing difficult or uncertain diagnoses.
Over the course of my career, I have performed more than 2,000 diagnostic and operative hysteroscopies, over 1,000 diagnostic and operative laparoscopies, more than 300 salpingectomies, over 200 laparoscopic cystectomies and more than 100 procedures in each of hysterectomy, vaginal hysterectomy, pelvic floor repair and myomectomy. This experience allows me to provide treatment tailored to each patient's needs while ensuring they feel supported throughout their care.
As an RCOG College Tutor, I am actively involved in training the next generation of gynaecology and obstetrics specialists. My practice is guided by the latest evidence-based research and national best practice guidelines to ensure patients receive high-quality, up-to-date care.
I take pride in providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care that helps patients and their families feel comfortable and supported. I am also a member of the British Medical Association (BMA), the International Society for Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ISUOG), the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) and the British Maternal and Fetal Medicine Society (BMFMS). My aim is always to be approachable, easy to talk to and available to guide patients through every step of their healthcare journey.
