I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in hip and knee surgery, sports injuries and trauma.
I completed my specialist orthopaedic training in London, at the very competitive UCH/Middlesex rotation. I then undertook two highly regarded specialist fellowships, first under Prof Michael Dunbar in Canada and then at the Barts Health Orthopaedic Centre and at the Royal London Hospital, in London. I completed a Masters in Trauma and Orthopaedics at University College London.
I have published more than 30 manuscripts, abstracts and book chapters and have given international presentations at some of the most prestigious orthopaedic conferences, such as the American Academy and the Orthopaedic Research Society.
I have special interest in hip replacement surgery, primary and revision; partial and total knee replacement surgery, primary and revision; knee arthroscopy, meniscal repair and ligament reconstruction; sports injuries and trauma and joint preservation techniques.
I am the Hip Fracture Lead at Barts Health NHS Trust. I have been trusted with the development of the service that will deliver hip fracture care in North East London.
