Mr Anish Shah

I specialise in oral surgery and have a keen interest in oral medical conditions. I am a registered specialist in oral surgery and undertake surgical work involving the teeth and jaws. This includes wisdom teeth, dental implants and surgical orthodontics. I also have a special interest in oral medical conditions such oral ulceration, dry mouth, red and white patches and disorders of the mouth and tongue.

I qualified in dentistry in 1999 from the prestigious United Medical and Dental School of Guy's and St Thomas' of London with double University Honors. I subsequently worked in various hospitals in the UK including King's College, London where I held the post of Specialty Doctor in Oral Surgery. I was appointed Consultant in Oral Surgery in 2010 having passed the Royal College of Surgeons examinations.

I welcome appropriate patients wishing to refer and pay for treatment themselves without the need for a GP letter of referral. I am available for appointments at Spire Wellesley Hospital on Thursday evenings.

Please note that from 15 August 2022, Mr Shah will no longer be seeing new patients with teeth-related issues (wisdom teeth, extractions, broken teeth, retained roots etc) and will only see oral medical issues such as TMJ disorders, lumps and bumps or sores in the mouth, lips or tongue, burning mouth syndrome, ulcers and oral thrush.
