I trained in Rheumatology in King College Teaching Hospital London. In November 2006, I won the UK National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society Healthcare Champion Award.
During my NHS post I was heavily involved in the education of medical students; I am an MRCP PACES examiner for the Royal College of Physicians, the Clinical & Educational Supervisor for junior doctors at King George Hospital in Essex and a clinical tutor for 4th year students at Barts and the London Hospital. I have also hosted the MRCP (UK) PACES exam at King Georges Hospital. I begin my career experiencing a wide range of general medical speciailties before taking the decision to proceed with Rheumatology. My career spans 33 years of medical practice, 28 of which practising in Rheumatology.
I am fully accredited in Rheumatology and Rehabilition Medicine by the UK Royal College of Physicians; I am also enrolled on the Specialist Register of the GMC, London.
