Under 16s

Consultations and minor tests such as ear suctioning and blood tests are available for children under 16. If your child needs further interventional diagnostic tests or surgical treatment, your consultant will discuss this with you and can arrange this for your child at an alternative Spire Hospital or local NHS facility which offers a full service for paediatrics.

Treatments for 16 - 17 year olds

Young people aged 16 - 17 years (up till their 18th birthday) who need further interventional diagnostic tests or surgical treatment will be risk assessed by a Registered Children’s Nurse to confirm that they can be treated as an adult here at Spire Hartswood Hospital.
