I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery, with particular expertise in joint replacement, including robotic surgery.

I regularly undertake all forms of joint replacement, including robotic hip and knee replacement as well as partial knee replacement. I also perform arthroscopic knee surgery and trauma surgery.

I graduated from St Andrews University with Honours, completing my undergraduate training at Manchester University. I undertook my orthopaedic surgical training on the prestigious Edinburgh rotation. Whilst in training, I was awarded Master of Surgery by The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, graduating first in my year. Following this, I was awarded a Fellowship year at The Golden Jubilee Hospital. There I gained further advanced skills in hip and knee joint replacement with a particular focus on MAKO robotic hip and knee surgery.

I enjoy teaching and regularly train other surgeons in the skills of joint replacement on various courses.
