Spire Edinburgh Hospitals has been caring for patients privately across Scotland and beyond since 1984.
We’re dedicated to providing quality treatment and aftercare. This means ongoing investment in our facilities and introducing new services so you can have up-to-date treatment and care in a clean, comfortable environment.
We aim to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. Our facilities at Spire Murrayfield include 60 private rooms, each with en-suite facilities. Spire Shawfair Park has 13 day beds.
Our private hospitals welcome all patients and our inclusive prices and payment plans make it easy and affordable, even if you don’t have medical insurance.
We offer easy booking and flexible appointment times to suit you so you don’t have to wait to get the treatment you need.
At Spire Murrayfield Hospital, we operate an open visitor’s policy between the hours of 9am to 9pm, every day of the year. If a friend or family member accompanies you into hospital they're welcome to remain in your room or in the ward’s visitor waiting room while you have your procedure.
Visitors may be asked to leave your room if your nurse feels you need to rest or while they undertake clinical duties within your room.
As Spire Shawfair Park Hospital is a day case facility, your stay in the hospital will last approximately three to four hours. If you'd like a friend or family member to visit or accompany you during your short stay, they'll be able to make use of our discharge lounge while you're having your procedure. Please note only one visitor at a time is allowed within the day case ward area at Spire Shawfair Park Hospital.
At both our hospitals there is free on-site parking available for patients and visitors.
You can choose to bring a friend or family member with you to most of your appointments. They can also wait in our lounge while you have any treatment and be there for you as you start your recovery.
At Spire Edinburgh Hospitals, we strive to recognise and support the needs of every individual. Our hospital is accessible to everybody – patients and their visitors.
