I have been a consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon in Edinburgh for 10 years, but was a consultant in the West Midlands for seven years before moving North.
I hold a medical degree from the University of Cambridge and trained in Glasgow and North Wales with periods of time in Amsterdam and Salt Lake City, Utah.
I have extensive experience over a wide range of clinical areas and was a Reservist deployed to serve in Afghanistan in 2014.
I remain the only military surgeon from a Head and Neck specialty to serve in Camp Bastion for the last six years.
