Mrs Alison Speake

I have been working as a physiotherapist for approximately 30 years starting my career in the NHS in Southampton covering all specialties. I then specialised in musculoskeletal disorders.

I have been working at the Spire Alexandra Hospital for 26 years and have developed an interest in orthopaedics and acupuncture.

I am the clinical moving and handling coordinator for the Spire Alexandra Hospital and am responsible for training all the clinical staff.

I now manage the department and split my time between management duties and clinical where I work on the ward treating inpatients.
