Treatment for colorectal cancer, proctology including haemorrhoids, fissure, fistula, obstructive defecatory syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, groin/umbilical hernia repair, and all aspects of general surgery.
My specialist interest is laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer, as well as laparoscopic bowel resections for inflammatory bowel disease. I also specialise in proctological procedures like haemorrhoid treatment, particularly with the latest techniques of HALO procedure. I see patients for appendicectomy, sigmoidoscopy and trans anal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS).
I have trained in various hospitals around South West London, and am currently practicing as a consultant general and laparoscopic colorectal surgeon at Epsom and St Helier Hospital since 2014. I did research (MD degree) from University College London from 2005 to 2007 in small bowel tissue engineering. After six years of specialist registrar training I did a fellowship at Basingstoke Hospital in laparoscopic colorectal surgery and peritoneal malignancy. I am also the Lead clinical auditor in the Depatment of Surgery at Epsom and St Helier Hospital.
