I am passionate about transforming lives after bariatric surgery through nutrition and mindset coaching. I am well versed in recent advancements in bariatric surgery and enjoy researching the gut brain axis and gut microbiome. Losing weight is challenging, it’s not what you eat it’s more about WHY you eat!
Outside of work, I have two teenagers that enjoy consuming my time. I’m very much into fitness and attend the gym most mornings to keep both mentally and physically fit. I live by the 80:20 rule. This means 80% of the time I aim to eat and drink well, and that allows me 20% to be more relaxed about what I have and not deprive myself of anything. When combining this with a regular exercise routine it allows me to keep my weight steady and also feel good whist enjoying what I eat.
