I am a specialist Physiotherapist in the field of adult musculoskeletal outpatients. I qualified in July 1993 from Sheffield Hallam University and I have worked at Spire Parkway Hospital since February 1999. I currently assess and treat musculoskeletal problems in adults over 18 years old with acupuncture, manual therapy and home exercises.
My specialism within outpatients is in treating all dysfunctions of the male and female pelvis. This includes bladder and bowel incontinence, such as leakage, urgency and frequency.
Musculoskeletal dysfunction such as chronic pelvic pain which can cause bladder and bowel disturbances or sexual dysfunction and pregnancy related conditions such as pelvic girdle pain. I can also treat intimate issues such as erectile dysfunction and peyronies as wells as treat any issues associated with menopausal symptoms such as strength training, exercise programmes to suit the individual, joint protection and general advice and education in managing menopausal symptoms.
I am a skilled practitioner in internal and external manual pelvic floor treatments including releasing of muscles, bladder retaining, biofeedback and exercises to restore normal pelvic function.
