I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2011 and have developed an interest in the knee, anterior cruciate ligament rehabilitation, paediatric musculoskeletal injuries, and sports rehabilitation.
Since graduating and working in other sectors, I specialised in musculoskeletal (MSK), completed Master’s modules in musculoskeletal injection therapy with Coventry University, paediatric musculoskeletal health at UAECC and post graduate courses in acupuncture. I am a fully qualified matwork, reformer and barre APPI pilates instructor teaching 1:1 reformer and 1:1 and group matwork classes. I use isokinetic cybex testing in my daily clinics to return to high level sports and I am a non-medical referrer (IRMER trained), with relevant adult and children safeguarding training.
I have taken on local projects to improve processes for the patients at Spire, including setting up the service for physiotherapy led injection therapy at Spire Parkway Hospital and am currently completing quality improvement qualifications.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Miss Kelly Rossborough at Spire include:
