After graduation I completed speciality training in internal medicine at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences Iran. I worked as a medical consultant in university and private practice for nearly seven years, providing consultation for two busy hospitals. In 2013 I finished speciality training in neurology in the West Midland Deanery and was consultant at Burton Foundation Trust, Heart of England. My background in medicine adds a wider view in approach to neurology patients.
I see more than 2,000 NHS patients every year from headaches to complicated neurological disorders - like neurosarcoidosis or stiff person syndrome. Majority are treated locally, but for those who need specific care I liaise with other colleagues who are specialised in that field.
