I am a leading Consultant in Anaesthesia and Interventional Pain Medicine with extensive experience in treating complex and persistent pain. As the NHS Clinical Lead for Pain Services, I specialise in providing rapid-access, non-surgical solutions for patients who have not found relief through traditional methods. My unique value lies in my high-volume clinical expertise - managing over 1,000 cases annually - and my ability to utilise the latest minimally invasive technologies to help patients regain their quality of life.

I specialise in the diagnosis and interventional management of spinal back pain, nerve, and joint pain. My core areas of expertise include sciatica, chronic neck and lower back pain, and complex nerve-related conditions such as Trigeminal neuralgia and CRPS. I have a particular interest in treating persistent pain following surgery or trauma, as well as complex pelvic and abdominal pain syndromes. I am highly skilled in advanced interventions, including epidurals, facet joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, joint injections and joint denervation that targets long term joint pain and ultrasound-guided procedures, ensuring treatment is targeted precisely at the source of pain.

I believe that effective pain management requires moving beyond simple medication to address the root cause of a patient's suffering. By utilising real-time, image-guided techniques, such as Ultrasound and X-ray - I ensure that every intervention is delivered with pinpoint accuracy. This ensures that every patient receives a personalised, goal-focused recovery plan designed to improve long-term function and physical well-being.

Throughout my dual practice in the NHS and at prestigious private institutions, I manage one of the most active pain portfolios in the region. I see more than 1,000 patients every year, performing hundreds of specialist interventional procedures. This high level of clinical activity ensures that my technical skills in advanced therapies, such as Spinal interventions and nerve denervation, remain at the forefront of safety and clinical excellence.

In addition to my clinical leadership, I am a dedicated researcher and educator. I hold a PhD and have completed international fellowships, keeping my practice aligned with global innovations in pain medicine. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Faculty of Pain Medicine, and I am actively involved in training the next generation of Pain Fellows.
