“On the 17 July, my daughter had major breast surgery at Tollerton Spire Nottingham Hospital, and I accompanied her from Iceland. We were both very grateful for the excellent care provided. The facilities at the new Spire Nottingham Hospital are exceptional and throughout my daughter's difficult time, the staff were extremely supportive, professional and hard working. We are extremely grateful to the whole team on the ward that was looking after her. As a relative, I was provided with great hospitality and support. I must also say I was extremely impressed with the food that was provided. It was really second to none and nothing like any kind of hospital food I have ever had before. Thankfully, my daughter's surgery went very well and I want to thank all of the specialised surgical staff and her consultant breast surgeon, Mr. Kristjan Skuli Asgeirsson, for their great care and kindness.”
