Mr Srinivasan Subramaniam
MS, DO, FRCS, FRCOphth, CertLRS
I have been a Consultant Ophthalmologist since 1999 and have performed over 20,000 cataract and refractive laser surgical procedures. My work is routinely audited independently and I have a complication rate considerably below the national average. I routinely get referrals for second opinions to treat problems arising from cataract and refractive surgery.
I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a special interest in complex cataract surgery and laser eye surgery. I am trained in all facets of cataract and refractive surgery including laser treatments and refractive lens exchange surgery. An early adopter of innovative technologies in cataract and refractive surgery, I routinely use various premium lenses like multifocal lenses, trifocal lenses and accommodative lenses to treat cataract and various refractive conditions.
I am an Examiner for several Royal Colleges. I was among the first cohort of Doctors who sat and passed the assessment of Competence in Laser refractive Surgery, conducted by The Royal College of Ophthalmologists. I am now an assessor for competency in laser refractive surgery.
I have been a member of the Microsurgical Training Faculty of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists for over 10 years. I have published papers in several peer review journals. I will provide you with truly up to date treatments in a compassionate caring manner.
