I am a registered dietitian with over five years post qualification experience in the NHS. In this time I have worked in inpatient and outpatient services, covering a range of adult and paediatric services. I have specialised in areas such as adult oncology and haematology, adult gastroenterology and paediatric gastroenterology and I am currently the lead dietitian for the paediatric general medicine and scoliosis surgery services at Nottingham University Hospitals.
I have experience delivering complex nutritional care, including therapeutic diets, oral nutrition support, enteral feeding and parenteral nutrition. Within my NHS roles I have experience in auditing, leading projects, service improvement and have sat on committees for improving nutrition and developing nutrition strategy across the hospital. I am currently studying for a second masters degree in clinical nutrition at the University of Nottingham. I am starting private practice by offering outpatient appointments within Children and Young People's Services at Spire Nottingham.
On referral from a Spire consultant, I can offer nutritional assessment and dietary advice for children experiencing: Faltering growth (poor weight gain/weight loss), coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome (including the low FODMAP diet), food allergies, food intolerances, fussy eating.
Advice outside of these conditions/treatments will be considered on request from a Spire consultant.
