I have been in my current consultant post for over 15 years, having established and developed the Urogynaecology service at Nottingham University Hospitals. This service is one of only two units in the East Midlands accredited by the British Society of Urogynaecologists. Accreditation ensures that the team delivers, develops and maintains standards that are externally assessed.

My approach to urogynaecology is to work with women to define troublesome symptoms, investigate as necessary, and to offer the widest range of treatment options to improve symptoms. I value the time to explore the benefits and risks of any proposed treatment.

Within general Gynaecology, I offer a similar symptoms based approach to most gynaecological problems including menstrual disorders and pelvic pain.

In my free time, I enjoy sailing (dinghy sailing and big-boat cruising), as well as powered and non-powered flying, and during the winter have been known to frequent both on and off-piste slopes in Europe. I am also a keen supporter of Nottinghamshire Cricket Club.
