I am a Consultant Spinal Surgeon and Honorary Professor based in Nottingham, specialising in the assessment and treatment of common and complex spinal conditions, including sciatica, spinal stenosis, disc prolapse, neck and back pain, scoliosis, spinal tumours, trauma, infection and revision spine surgery.
Trained in leading centres in the UK and North America, I have extensive experience in minimally invasive, reconstructive and complex spine surgery. My practice focuses on careful diagnosis, evidence-based treatment and helping patients understand both non-surgical and surgical options.
I am an award-winning international presenter, author of over 130 peer-reviewed publications and a faculty member of several international spine societies. I hold an LLM, PhD and Executive MBA in Healthcare with Distinction from the University of Nottingham.
