I am a Laparoscopic General and Colorectal Surgeon with Nottingham University Hospital NHS trust since 2014. After graduation and surgical training in Kerala, India, I did my research and higher surgical training in Newcastle upon Tyne and a national laparoscopic fellowship.
My research interests are population determinants on bowel cancer outcomes and quality of recovery after bowel surgery.
My NHS practice involves keyhole surgery for bowel disease including single incision keyhole surgery in elective and emergency settings, early rectal cancer treatments aimed at rectal preservation and abdominal wall reconstruction of complex ventral hernias. I also do ambulatory day case general surgery and proctology.
I am a member of the ACPGBI and a JAG accredited endoscopist.
