I am a very experienced Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with my NHS practice at the Nottingham University Teaching Hospitals. I specialise in the treatment of all vascular conditions, with a special interest in keyhole varicose veins and keyhole aneurysm treatments.

I have been treating varicose veins since 2001, and I treat about 25 to 30 patients every month, both in my NHS and private practice.

I also treat patients with leg pain, leg ulcers, leg swelling, blocked arteries, carotid surgery for stroke prevention and all types of aneurysms.

I developed and currently lead the complex aneurysm repair programme in Nottingham.

I am a keen teacher and actively involved in vascular surgery training in the UK and Africa. I am currently the Training Programme Director for Vascular Surgery with Health Education England, East Midlands, and tasked with the responsibility of training future vascular surgeons. This is a role that keeps me up to date with current teachings and research, enabling me to practice evidence-based medicine. I also organise yearly vascular training workshops for vascular surgeons.

I can be available for a free pre-consultation phone call on 07733 116 761 to plan your consultation and investigations at your convenience.

I love sports including football and Formula 1. I also join my local church in feeding the homeless twice a week. I am involved in a charity called CMIPD (The Centre for the Promotion of Medical Informatics and Professional Development) which aims to enhance delivery of healthcare in Nigeria.

I spend my spare evenings helping out in soup kitchens for the homeless with my local church in Nottingham. I also volunteer with international medical charities providing vascular service to developing countries
