I am a Consultant in Pain Medicine with experience of more than 10 years. As a clinical lead for pain management in the NHS hospital, I have been instrumental in developing the interventional and multidisciplinary pain service.
I have experience in treating a wide range of pain conditions and my main areas of interest are low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, musculoskeletal pain and complex regional pain syndrome.
I am proficient in interventional techniques including spinal injections like epidurals, facet joint injections, diagnostic nerve blocks, radiofrequency denervation. I completed my postgraduate anaesthesia and pain management training at Nottingham University Hospitals.
I was awarded FRCA and FFPMRCA (Pain) qualifications by the Royal College of Anaesthetists and Faculty of Pain Medicine in London. In addition, I underwent advanced training in pain management before being appointed as a consultant. My special interests are interventional pain management, orthopaedic/trauma and regional anaesthesia.
