I am Consultant Respiratory Medicine at Nottingham University Hospitals, Notts, since 2014. I have spent my Training years, working in several hospitals within East Midlands & also Bristol deanery.
With more than 25 years of working in a clinical setting and 11+ years as a consultant in respiratory medicine, I have a wide-ranging knowledge and experience of the assessment and care of patients with a range of lung conditions.
My areas of specialist interest includes Lung cancer, pleural disease, sleep medicine ,ventilation, unexplained breathlessness & cough. I routinely treat patients with asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis & interstitial lung disease including pulmonary fibrosis , amongst other diagnosis.
I also have expertise in the management of sleep breathing problems such as sleep apnoea and snoring. As part of Acute Respiratory care Unit in QMC , I provide care for people being assessed home ventilation for a variety of conditions including neuromuscular and thoracic cage disorders.
I have research interests in the management of Sleep apnoea, Ventilation, Pleural disease & international bronchoscopy.
