We're here to look after you

Our experienced team understands what you’re feeling. Nothing is more important to us than your wellbeing.

The highest standards

We're always striving to achieve the highest levels of healthcare standards for the people we look after. We take great pride in the care we give our patients and the cleanliness of all our facilities. We think that's reflected in what people think of our service - in 2015 we had a 99% patient satisfaction rate and we’re recommended all the time, by people just like you. Each of our modern, immaculate hospitals has its own infection control nurse, which helped us to achieve a 0% MRSA bloodstream infection rating in 2015.

We're here to look after you

You'll be cared for by a team of medical specialists that is dedicated to getting the best results for you. Your treatment will be personally tailored, with your choice of consultant, location and timing.

How quickly can I be seen?

You can see a specialist consultant at a time and day to suit you. With Spire, there is hardly any waiting for tests, scans, investigations or appointments.

Your stay with us

Your room will be like a home-from-home during your stay with us, complete with ensuite facilities, TV, wifi and award-winning food. Friends and family can visit almost anytime.

Coming into hospital

We work hard to make your time with us relaxed and as comfortable as can be.

While you’re with us

Your immaculate, comfortable room will feel more like a hotel than a hospital. You can surf the web, watch TV and enjoy our delicious food in privacy.

Visitors

At Spire Norwich Hospital we operate an open visitor’s policy between the hours of 9am-9pm to help fit around your life and the people you love. However it may be possible to arrange visiting hours outside these times if prior arrangements have been made with the nurse in charge. If a friend or family member accompanies you into hospital they are welcome to remain in your room while you have your procedure. Visitors may be asked to leave your room during specific treatments or procedures and if the nursing team feels you need to rest.

Leaving hospital

You can leave hospital whenever your consultant thinks you're ready. Even after you’ve left hospital, we’re here for you every step of the way - we'll make sure you've got all the medication, information and follow-up support that you need.

Meeting your needs

Whether you're using health insurance or paying for treatment yourself, we're here to look after you. Everyone has access to the same high quality care and equipment.

Patients with a disability

Recognising the needs of every individual, all of our hospitals and centres are accessible to everybody, so we welcome visitors with disabilities. Spire takes its responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA) as employers (Part II), and service providers (Part III) very seriously.

Our goal is to recognise the needs of every individual and to provide health and care services that are appropriate, respectful, inclusive and equal. We always try to meet the needs of any visitor to our buildings. We provide patient information in a variety of formats, including large print and audio versions, and we seek to ensure that our buildings, access routes, signage and lighting meet the needs of people with disabilities.

Children

Children are always welcome in our hospital and may visit us as between 9am-9pm. However it may be possible to arrange visiting hours outside these times if prior arrangements have been made with the nurse in charge.

Continuous improvement

We're constantly striving to improve and maintain excellence. If there's anything you think we can do better, please let us know by calling us on 0800 169 1777.
