I am a registered dietitian and nutritionist, with over 20 years experience working in the NHS and private practice. I have a particular interest in women’s health and helping women manage long term conditions through flexible plant-based eating. I have an interest in food intolerances, irritable bowel syndrome, nutrition therapy for fertility, sports nutrition and sustainable diets. I have also been a specialist diabetes dietitian for the last 10 years.
In the NHS I have worked in many areas of dietetics including, ITU, renal, gastroenterology (allergies, IBS and IBD) and weight management.
I am an educator for several diabetes education programmes including DAFNE and DEMSOND and a facilitator for the Complete Health Improvement Programme (CHIP). I have a post-graduate certificate in Sport and Exercise Nutrition from Coventry University and a masters degree in clinical research from the University of East Anglia.
