I qualified from Nottingham University in 1988 and spent my years as a junior doctor in the Trent region. Having decided upon a career in General Surgery, I did the majority of my specialist surgical training in the Leicester area but also spent nearly 3 years in Adelaide, South Australia. This has enabled me to develop a very wide experience in my chosen surgical specialty, particularly in the fields of complex liver and pancreatic surgery, as well as advanced laparoscopic surgery.
I perform a variety of operations for patients with cancer of the liver and pancreas as well as a range of laparoscopic procedures, including laparoscopic cholecystectomy and hernia repair.
