I have been engaged in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery for the last 15 years. This has included completion of my training in a high volume trauma referral centre in North India catering to a population of 10 million. My foot and ankle training has included two high quality fellowships at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, North London along with training in trauma at St George's University Hospital in South West London.
I also undertook a travelling fellowship in Japan in 2017 at Tohoku University Hospital in Sendai prefacture.
I am trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including trauma-both acute and chronic, deformities both flat and high arched feet, diabetic feet and surgery on toes.
My expertise includes managing general trauma and foot and ankle elective surgery including ligament repair and reconstruction, joint fusions and replacements in the foot and ankle, bunion correction both open and minimally invasive, Achilles tendon repair and reconstruction, ingrown toe nail and management of plantar fasciitis.
I have performed more than 50 ligament reconstructions , over 100 bunion and toe fusion surgeries and over 500 surgeries for fractures of ankle and feet.

I am a keen sports person and enjoy playing and watching cricket, football, tennis and badminton. When not in hospital, I can generally be found in a sports park or on a beach with my family which includes my wife, daughter and son!
My mission is to focus our healthcare towards prevention and I collaborate often with my physiotherapy and biomechanical podiatry colleagues for the same.
