I am a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon in Norwich, Norfolk with a specialist interest in hand and wrist surgery. In my private practice at Spire Norwich Hospital, I treat a range of conditions including carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's contracture, joint pain in the hand and wrist, trigger finger and scaphoid fractures. I perform ganglion removal surgery and undertake other treatments including arthroscopy and elbow surgery as well as finger, wrist and elbow replacement.
I maintain a general orthopaedic practice and am part of the on-call trauma rota at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust.
I qualified from Cambridge University in 1993 and mostly trained in East Anglia (completing two years as a specialist registrar at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital). I also spent six months as a fellow at the University of Toronto Hand Programme.
My research and particular interests relates to disorders of the wrist such as carpal tunnel syndrome and Dupuytren’s disease.
