I work within both the inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy departments at Spire Norwich Hospital. In the outpatient setting I follow up orthopaedic patients post-operatively for their rehabilitation after total knee and hip replacements, as well as other knee surgeries such as ACL repairs, arthroscopies and shoulder surgery.
I have developed an interest in prehabilitation and am one of the physiotherapists in a team developing a prehabilitation service to aid patients with preparation before surgery, which should make the rehabilitation process easier.
While on the wards I will assess and treat any of our surgical and orthopaedic patients, whether that is in our day case unit or our overnight ward.
I have an interest in pilates, which I incorporate into these rehabilitation programmes where able.
I qualified in 2013 and have been working for Spire since then.
