After qualifying from Oxford University Medical School Dr Williams worked as a junior doctor in medicine in Birmingham, Oxford and London. He completed his specialist training in radiology in Oxford, moving to Norfolk as a consultant in 2001. Since then, in addition to his clinic work, Dr Williams has been head of radiology training and subsequently clinical director of the radiology department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Dr Williams has been involved in private practice as a member of the Colney Radiology Group since 2003.
