Dr Joelle Dobson

I am a Consultant Dermatologist with ten years of experience in the diagnosis and management of skin diseases. I have held a consultant post at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since 2023.

I have expertise in managing dermatological conditions in adults, adolescents and children. My clinical practice within both the NHS and my private practice at Spire Norwich Hospital covers a range of General Dermatology and subspecialty of Paediatric Dermatology. This includes the diagnosis and management of skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and acne. I can perform skin checks to identify and manage pre-cancerous blemishes (e.g. actinic keratosis) and skin cancers (e.g. basal cell carcinomas, squamous cell carcinomas and melanomas).

I provide a range of skin surgical procedures including biopsies, excisions and liquid nitrogen cryotherapy.

I undertook my Dermatology registrar training at the Royal Derby Hospital and at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. I am a member of the British Association of Dermatologists with sub-specialist membership in the British Association of Paediatric and Adolescent Dermatology and the British Society of Medical Dermatology.
