I am a specialist hand, wrist and elbow Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with a private practice at Spire Norwich Hospital seeing and treating patients from the Norfolk, East Anglia area.
I specialise in all aspects of hand, wrist and elbow surgery. This includes but not exclusive to nerve decompressions, microsurgical techniques, arthroscopy, joint replacements, tendon repairs and transfers, ganglion removal surgery and osteotomies (surgery to treat damaged joints, relieve pain and correct deformities). I also treat conditions such as osteoarthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's contracture, sports injuries and soft tissue injuries.
I undertook higher training in trauma and orthopaedics in London and the Southeast of England, then carried out advanced training in hand and microsurgery at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland New Zealand, before a further fellowship at Southampton University Hospital.
I have published work on wrist replacements in the prestigious British Journal of Hand Surgery. The work earned a distinction as part of an MSc dissertation and also won an award at the British Hand Society in 2014.
